Our team is comprised of Rob Blankenship, Dave Della-Giustina, and Christina Shenvi, each bringing unique expertise and experiences to our coaching practice.
Robert Blankenship, MD, FACEP, PCC
is a seasoned leader in the medical field, with over 20 years of experience in leadership roles, 11 of which were spent in active duty. Awarded the Bronze Star for his leadership in Iraq, Rob has also offered his consulting expertise to the United States Special Operations Command and the White House. Now an ICF-certified Executive Coach, he utilizes his leadership skills to guide individuals and teams towards peak performance. Rob is currently assisting his hospital system in starting an Emergency Medicine Residency Program. He resides near Cincinnati, Ohio, where he enjoys golfing and spending quality time with his wife and four children​.

David Della-GiustinaMD, FACEP, FAWM, ACC
is a Professor of Emergency Medicine and the current Emergency Medicine Residency Program Director as well as Vice Chair for Education at Yale School of Medicine. In addition to leading the residency, he also directs both the Wilderness Medicine Fellowship and the Educational Leadership Fellowship, where he mentors the next generation of physician leaders.
 Dr. Della-Giustina has served as a Residency Program Director for over 18 years in total—including more than 13 years as Program Director at Yale and five years as Program Director in the U.S. Army. During his Army career, he also served as a Department Chair for 10 years, providing leadership in both combat and academic environments.
Ā A credentialed Associate Certified Coach (ACC) through the International Coaching Federation, he integrates professional coaching into medical education and leadership development. His areas of expertise include residency and medical student education, wilderness medicine, tactical and combat casualty care, leadership, and point-of-care ultrasound.
Ā Dr. Della-Giustina has been recognized nationally and locally for his excellence in teaching and leadership. He is a recipient of the prestigious ACGME Parker J. Palmer Courage to Teach Award and has earned multiple teaching awards at the resident, hospital, and national levels, including recognition through ACEP and the ACGME.
Ā He is also a retired Colonel from the U.S. Army with over 29 years of distinguished service, including four combat tours with U.S. Special Operations Command in Afghanistan (2) and Iraq (2). His military and academic careers together reflect his lifelong dedication to leadership, service, and values-based education.
Christina Shenvi, MD, PhD, MBA, FACEP
is a practicing emergency physician, educator, keynote speaker, and leader. She holds degrees from Princeton University, UC-Berkeley, Yale University, and UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School. Christina is passionate about helping you create more time for what matters to you. Her goal is to help catalyze change in your life so that you can live more aligned with your values, overcome barriers, and renew your excitement for what you do​.
